We are very fortunate to be centrally positioned to access the nature reserves and national parks of Two Peoples' Bay - home of the Noisy Scrub Bird and Gilbert's Potoroo (25 kms), Waychinnicup, (55 kms), Porongurups (16 kms) and Stirling Ranges (50 kms). The coastline around here is also home to many waders and other seabirds, and we can direct visitors to the best points for observing this type of bird.

The elusive ground parrot and rock parrot have been sighted in these areas! We can possibly arrange for you to meet birding 'pros' of our acquaintance. We have a bird list for the property as well as for the Albany region, copies are available to guests.

Thanks to Charlie Davies for the use of his beautiful photographs!
